YouTuber and model Eden The Doll, real name Eden Estrada, was out with two friends in Hollywood on Monday when they were attacked and robbed. The entire incident was captured on an Instagram Live posted by user @stevofilmz, who the 25-year-old Estrada says “instigated THE ENTIRE attack.”

“Him and his friends stole from us. Beat us. Laughed at us. Humiliated us. AND had the nerve to POST IT,” Estrada wrote on her Instagram Story

Estrada has almost 300,000 subscribers on YouTube, where she posts videos about beauty and her experience transitioning. She and friends Jaslene Whiterose and Joslyn Flawless were waiting for an Uber when Estrada says one of the men seen in the livestream stole her phone. This led to a drawn-out interaction in which the women were taunted, chased, and beaten—because, they believe, of the fact that they are trans women.

The harrowing Instagram Live shows one man giving Whiterose a head injury by hitting her with a piece of debris and another holding Flawless at knifepoint. The men can also be seen throwing a scooter at the women. Estrada was forced to buy her phone back from the man who stole it. During the 26-minute video, the men can be heard laughing and making transphobic remarks.

“I don’t care if you don’t like me or aren’t a fan or even hate me,” Estrada wrote on her Instagram Story. “No one deserves this. Women like me get murdered on the fucking daily.”

Estrada, Whiterose, and Flawless have managed to identify some of the men via their Instagram accounts, which are quickly being made private. A representative for the LAPD told me a robbery report has been taken and that no one is in custody at this point.

Estrada, Whitehall, and Flawless did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
