TikTok creator Ethan Andrew (real name Ethan Rhett) has accused James Charles of sending him nude photos. In an initial (now-deleted) video and Instagram Story, Rhett says that Charles was aware that he is 14 and continued to send nude photos after Rhett asked him to stop. This comes after rumors of Charles’ inappropriate behavior led to “Dramageddon 2.0,” when Tati Westbrook publicly cut ties with the creator in 2019. Recently, Westbrook walked back her internet-breaking video, saying that creators Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star manipulated her into believing false accusations. However, Rhett’s video appears to give credence to the initial rumors.

“Me and James started off as friends then he got comfortable sending me nudes, after several times of me asking him to stop,” Rhett wrote in the intro to his video. “He knew I was 14, but because I was young he thought he could take advantage of me and control me, and every time I refused to do what he wanted...he threatened to ‘out’ ME."

Rhett then backs up this allegation with screenshots and video evidence of messages between him and Charles. He also elaborated in his Instagram Story, responding to criticism claiming Charles was not aware of Rhett’s age.

“I told him on FaceTime, I told him on Snapchat,” he says in the videos. “I am 14-years-old. I have 330,000 followers on TikTok — I’m not trying to be arrogant. My age is on the internet.”

Back in 2019, Westbrook referenced Charles’ alleged behavior in her now-deleted video, referring to an incident at her birthday party in Seattle.

“Oh my god, you tried to trick a straight man into thinking he’s gay yet again,” she says in the video. Charles denied this allegation in a later video

Rhett says he decided to speak out after Charles appeared on Logan Paul’s podcast and referred to hooking up with someone from TikTok who was coming to terms with their sexuality. In the episode Charles also says he’s attracted to younger guys who are often TikTok boys, at one point saying they’re in “high school or college” before clarifying “senior in high school.”

A rep for Charles did not respond to a request for comment.
