Not all heroes wear capes—and in the case of influencer Julia Rose, sometimes they don’t wear shirts, either. The former Are You The One? star and creator of Shagmag, who had her Instagram axed back in December for what many believed to be nudity, made her grand return with a new account last week and an IRL publicity stunt to celebrate: changing the iconic Los Angeles “Hollywood” sign to read “Hollyboob.”

While the LAPD have not publicly identified the six trespassers arrested on Monday in relation to the prank, which involved covering the “W” with a “B” and adding a white line through the “D” to make a “B,” Rose and YouTuber Jack Tenney owned up to the stunt to the Daily Mail. Despite reports claiming the change was made to honor Breast Cancer awareness, Rose told the outlet it was actually in protest of social media’s nudity and morality policies.

“This was to show them that I still have a voice," Rose says. “My business for Shagmag with almost one million followers also got disabled this year due to nudity, but I'm not doing anything more than what Playboy is doing so I think they're discriminating against my accounts.”

A representative for the Hollywood Sign Trust griped about the stunt.

“It’s unfortunate that such an important icon for the city of L.A. is not being appreciated,” Mark Panatier, the group’s chairman, told the Los Angeles Times. “This is an icon that’s there for visual reinforcement of the importance of Hollywood, not just for the city of L.A. but to the world. It needs to be upheld, it doesn’t need to be demeaned.”

Rose confirmed her arrest on Twitter, and celebrated the caper with a photo opp on Instagram.

Meanwhile, the Hollywood sign has been returned back to its normal, boob-free state.
